- watching with wonder as my baby transforms from a tiny newborn into a chubby infant — and feeling like it’s a little bit bittersweet, too
- trying to find ways to balance caring for the baby with other work and projects
- feeling a little sad about my final postpartum appointment today; knowing I’ll miss these visits with my wonderful midwife

And Grace, I can relate to feeling sad about the last postpartum visit. My midwives took such good care of me, and I felt so fragile after my babies were born. I really needed more nurturing from other people, but I guess we have to make it through, don’t we?

Grace: I was sad after my final postpartum visit at the doctor. I really enjoyed my pregnancy and birth and was sad, when this final visit and the pregnany came to an definite end.
