• reminding myself that I’m not to blame when I’m feeling down
  • trying not to fall into that vicious cycle of thinking that my baby needs me so much, I can’t even brush my teeth
  • feeling happy that my favorite flowers are blooming just steps from my front door


  • spending my early evenings taking a little extra time to put care and beauty in the surroundings of my two eldest, and loving it
  • trying to be gentle- not just with the baby, but with my other two girls, my husband, myself
  • feeling like personal hygiene is more important right now to my mental health than my physical health
